A classic machine park has production equipment and electric motors from many manufacturers. After 80 years in the industry, Kymar has established a network that allows us to obtain motors from most. We have the expertise to find the right parts and can repair anything. Larger customers often use us as a one-stop shop.

The exclusive authorization as ABB Value Provider for low-voltage motors and generators in Norway applies to the entire value chain: sales, installation and service. ABB is a global technology leader in electrification and automation. Kymar's workshops are also Ex-certified by both ABB and DNV.

We offer brushes from several quality manufacturers, with Morgan as the main supplier. The English company is a leading manufacturer of carbon brushes for rotating electromechanical equipment. In Moss, Kymar once produced its own brushes, and we still have our own brush department at this workshop. Brush expertise is very valuable, as there are a huge number of variants to choose from. Often the challenge is that the customer's brush does not function optimally. At Kymar we have the expertise to help you both with the selection of a new and better brush and the adaptation of standard brushes.

Kymar is an authorized service partner for Flender and offers a complete range of their gears. Flender is a recognized brand with reliable gear solutions for onshore, marine and offshore industries. We contribute to smooth and stable operation through a wide range of spare parts for gears and couplings, adapted to different industries and applications. If you need to replace parts for your helical or planetary gears, Kymar provides fast and targeted support.

Flender has roots dating back to 1899, is represented in 33 countries and has sold more than two million gears. With extensive expertise in industrial drive technology, Flender delivers quality for more than 100 different applications. Flender wants to be a partner for a sustainable future and has invested heavily in gear units for wind turbine systems in recent years.

The authorization is exclusive to the Norwegian market. French Nidec Leroy-Somer is an internationally leading generator manufacturer, known for quality generators for hydroelectric power plants, among other things. Kymar has access to all technical documentation for all generators and performs overhauls alone or together with Nidec on larger projects.
