Winding
Kymar is one of Norway's largest professional environments within winding. Our 12 certified professionals have a thorough understanding of electric motors. Some produce, some are technical advisors, others manage. Winding is manual work that requires expertise and patience – there is no point in fighting the thread.
Low voltage AC winding
Single-phase motors , asynchronous three-phase motors and generators, transformers, all kinds of coils, slip ring motors, variable speed motors, rotary converters, Ex motors, etc.
High voltage AC winding
Asynchronous motors and generators, synchronous motors and generators, slip ring motors, rotary converters, etc.
DC motor rewinding
Commutators , field coils, shunt coils, compound coils etc.
Inspections, electrical measurements and vibration analyses
Kymar has its own team that performs vibration measurements and analyses within certification categories I, II and III. We also have personnel and equipment for electrical measurements on equipment, and our offshore team performs Ex inspections.
The use of frequency converters is increasing, which can cause current through the bearings and cause damage. At Kymar, we have the expertise to uncover and eliminate potential problems. Our brush department performs inspections and recommends solutions that will, among other things, reduce wear.

Electric motors are critical in many productions. We stock our customers' spare motors and ensure they are always ready for use.
- Separate system for updating and status of engines
